Fear not the revolving door

Much of Tibetan Buddhism evolves around understanding and accepting death. Temples are filled with images and statues to prepare the living for their final voyage and the gods and demons they will meet in the 49 days in Bardo. Auspicious rebirths are attributed to a positive accumulation of karma and an understanding of how to pass through Bardo without getting pulled into the lower realms. this image is a reminder, painted on a temple wall ~
